Rich Mountain — Potosi

I'm in Potosi at 13,500 feet, I can't breath and it's cold

Super cool city tho, you should read about it on wikipedia and go on a google earth street view tour

My new comp is another american so hopefully my spanish doesn't start to suck (elder holt from oregon)

Our apartment sucks there is no kitchen sink so we wash dishes in a tiny bathroom sink

I'm feeling a sense of urgency to kill it cause I only have 17 weeks left

The area isn't the greatest tho hahaI won't complain, I just got spoiled by my last, amazing area

The Strongest Investigator

Luz Mari was baptized!

This mom and her daughter will be baptized in 3 weeks

This guy went to Utah and played in a band

Baptized the strongest investigator I've ever had, she'll go on a mission and baptize like a million, she converted herself. Her mom wouldn't let her come to church. She turned 18  but her mom still wouldn't let her, then she fasted and prayed a ton and she finally let her 

Our Bishop in Colcapirhua will be missed, I can't pick favorites but he has been my favorite bishop out of the four wards I've been in, very nice and genuine and humble and friendly, even though he's shorter than me I definitely look up to him

I had an epiphany with other members that my comp looks like oscar from shark tale

I'm going to Potosi now, a city thats like thirteen thousand five hundred feet above sea level, this crappy keyboard wont let me type numbers nor parenthesis

My last area, I'll see y'all in eighteen short weeks, one hundred twenty six days

Marvelous Work and Wonder

I finished reading "A Marvelous Work and Wonder" by LeGrand Richards, suuuper good book, yall should read it

One week left in my area then off to my last area for 18 more weeks

In Bolivia they have a children's day, and well, since we're children we went to the church activity (cause we had nothing to do and all the members were there anyway)

A 2 Year Test of Patience

So went to the doctor again and was nervous and just kinda tired of being at the doctors office, and even said a little prayer, and randomly enough, some japanese foreign exchange students were also there in the waiting room and they spoke spanish so we tlaked and got to know eachother, they were super cool, and the best part, 2 of them also had ameobas and i was like hey me too and theyre like really? ayyyyyy and we all freaked out and gave eachother high fives everyone was lookin over like what the heck is goin on, i went into the doctors office smiling

Also met someone from the netherlands, taught my first lesson in english in the whole mish and couldnt really do it i was talking like an idiot

I was gonna have a bunch of baptisms but they got postponed D:

The mission is just a giant 2 year test of patience

Got a free mariachi band concert cause our land lady had them come for fathers day (it's in march in Bolivia idk why)

An investigator had a dream that I came up to him and told him he wouldn't be saved and that my comp tried to read the bible but he was an idiot and couldn't talk haha then he heard a voice from heaven saying to only trust the bible not the book of mormon

Then had an investigator invite herself to baptism she was so pumped

It doesn't matter where you serve but how you serve

From last week:

We have an 11 year old investigator who is already teaching with us lol she's super smart and very faithful, her poor mother speaks mainly quechua which must be hard, having a daughter that doesn't speak your first language

Another one of our investigators with a date had a dream he got baptised in sparkling water, while wearing glowing white clothes
